Well I just heard today that my dad does in fact have prostate cancer. They are optimistic that surgery will take care of it. When he had his biopsy 2 weeks ago they took 12 samples and only one small area had cancer, so that is good. The doctors office is making the arrangements for the surgery to happen at Roswell Cancer Institute in Buffalo. I will keep you posted. I can't wait to get home to see my family this weekend.

Prayers needed
Today I was informed about a friends very early birth of her daughter. Cailyn Hindle was born on November 12th, 1lb 4 oz. Cailyn's mother had pre-eclampsia so she had to be induced. Cailyn will likely have to stay in the hospital until her origanal due date, February 28th.
Also, today is the day that my dad will find out if he has prostate cancer. Please keep my family and friends in your prayers. Take care everyone.

1st Trimester
So it's been a few weeks. I had my second dr appt a week ago. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat, 170 beats per minute. Sadly, Caleb was not able to make it so I called him and he got to hear the heartbeat over the phone. Caleb thinks this rate of heartbeat means we are having a girl. I told him that it's just an old wives tale. We will see who is right in a few more weeks.
Lately, I have just been feeling fat and not pregnant. I had gained weight before the wedding, so that is not helping my self esteem issues right now. Someone suggested taking a 3 month along pic but I am not feeling it. My boobs are growing and that isn't fun either. I was having some trouble with my sciatica nerve. It was a long painful weekend at the beginning of the month. I had to work all weekend and couldn't get into the chiropractor until Monday. But I am doing better now. It just feels like a pulled muscle. So now it is time to get that workout routine back in place. I need it for my health and the baby, not to mention my sanity and my marriage. I had been very hormonal, so Caleb and I were fighting alot. Things are getting better now.
I am starting to think about nursery themes and colors. I actually started a wish list at Babiesrus to help me keep track of what I like. And will have something to go on when I do go to create the baby registry. We have been working on names. I will keep you posted on all these fun things.

Big Announcement
So I have been waiting to post this, until the right time. So here it is..... I'm PREGNANT!!!!! We will have a lil bundle of joy arriving around June 1st. So far I have been pretty lucky and not having much morning sickness. I go to the dr in a couple of weeks and hopefully will be able to hear the baby's heart beat. We are SO excited. I want to have a boy and Caleb wants to have both, however he would like this baby to be a girl.
I will keep you posted as the months go by.

For the love of Fall...
It is a beautiful sunny, 75 degree day in Northwest PA and I am loving it. Fall is my favorite season. The leaves are really starting to change, the nights are cool, pumpkins & mums are plentiful, and its football season. Yesterday, we rounded up the gang and went for a 4 wheeling ride. It was perfect, the woods were colorful, the sun was shining and the wildlife was abundant. Also, Caleb and his buddies worked on measuring, cutting and power washing the boards for the "man cave". Caleb's very own den for the guys to gather and watch football games and those stupid scary/suspense movies that I don't like. lol He is recovering the walls w/ barn wood planks to give it a very rustic look. They only got one wall covered this weekend.
I am hoping to go home and sit outside a bit and read. Then take Remi for a walk at Roche park after supper. Hope everyone is having this nice beautiful weather. ENJOY!

Some wedding pics

I won't have the photographers proofs for a few more weeks. I decided to put on some of the snapshots that were taken by friends. Hopefully I will get some honeymoon pics on soon.
